Dr Barbara Rauch is an artist practitioner and research academic. She was the holder of a 2-year AHRC research grant, ‘The Personalised Surface within Fine Art Digital Printmaking’ (University of the Arts London, UK). She conducted case studies with an emphasis on 3-dimensional prints and screen-based works (May 1st 2007 - 2009). The project completed with an exhibition and symposium at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, 2008 and a final conference at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London April, 2009.

Rauch was also acting director at the ‘Sensory Computer Interface Research and Innovation for the Arts’, at UAL before joining OCAD as Assistant Professor in Graphics and Visualization.

Since September 2009 Rauch teaches in the Faculty of Art and in the Digital Futures Program, and various Graduate Programs. She currently works on a book publication for the ‘Consciousness, Literature & the Arts’ series with Rodopi Editions, New York.
