Jim Bizzocchi is an Assistant Professor in the School of Interactive Art and Technology at Simon Fraser University. Jim teaches courses on Interactive Narrative, Video Production, and Game Design. His research interests include the emergent aesthetics of the moving image, the design of interactive narrative, and the development of educational games and simulations. He has presented and published widely in a variety of academic conferences, journals and books. He is an experienced educational technologist, and is a past-president of the Canadian Association for Distance Education. Jim is also a practicing filmmaker, producing award-winning video art that complements his scholarly writing.
