Biography

Sharla King is the Director of the Health Sciences Education and Research Commons (HSERC), leading the development of a program of educational research in the health sciences, which includes innovations such as integrating intelligent technology into a ‘smart condo’ and simulation based learning environments. Research interests include understanding the impact of alternative methods of delivery of educational material on the development of clinical and team collaborative skills and how best to prepare health science students to enter the health workforce competent to work collaboratively in interprofessional teams.
