Biography

Gerald Penn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Chief Scientist of the Knowledge Media Design Institute at the University of Toronto. His research interests are in spoken language processing and computational linguistics. He is a recipient of an Ontario Early Researcher Award, and was a member of the Network for Effective Collaboration Technologies through Advanced Research (NECTAR).
